The Resource Description Framework (RDF) is a framework for representing information in the Web. All white-hat SEO stuff and practical. RDF has a simple data model that is easy Yeah, I agree that the resource-centric (or node-centric) view is more practical, and that's the direction we took in Needle, too. Every time I write about graphs, I am stuck with the same dilema. Interesting for the readers involved in various SPICE models and mathematical lovers, but for more practical DIY-ers, sadly there are no final „recipes" or tube SPICE models. Yes, I did not mention RDF/LinkedData/etc. Practical P-P-P-Problems with Linked Data The first LOD cloud diagram was published three years ago (upper left figure below), with 25 datasets consisting of over two billion RDF triples and two million RDF links. I've been mulling over this alternate way of thinking about RDF, one that is resource-oriented rather than triple-oriented. One practical upside is that the label for particular algorithms can be stored in the RDF. The resource can have a dc:title property with value “SHA1”. This is what I came up with: ~~~~. At Talis we're doing the same – our RDF versioning protocol doesn't support bnodes either and we actually replace them with URIs in many places. Now, to be fair, there have been efforts to make practical usage of RDF (see: MusicBrainz) and these are early days for microformats. Why are Alexa rankings important? Do I or do I not talk about the Semantic Web. Literals are usually abstract values and describing them in most cases is not necessary nor practical. And finally, a priority list of ways website owners can improve their Alexa rankings. To better understand literals, one can make an analogy between the RDF model and the object-oriented (OO) model.
